An Atlanta, GA native, I have been expressing myself creatively for the greater part of my life. I studied art, mostly painting and photography, while in school in Atlanta and later came to fall in love with the multiple ancient forms of Printmaking and Book Arts for which I earned my Bachelor in Fine Arts from the University of Georgia.  I am currently living happily in Atlanta with my husband and Basset Hound.  

My art typically consists of mixed media. I am always learning new tricks with different mediums and love watching the materials take life and do what they do best. I am drawn to the use of water and how it reacts with the paint, ink, or paper and try to allow it to give a natural sense of movement in all of my pieces. My focus is on overlapping organic geometric shapes and added material (torn paper/fabric) to create a subtle multi dimensional look.
